The risks are that you could be hurt and that there will not be anyone around to help you.
Your bike breaks down or has a puncture and you will have to sort it out yourself.
If you can live with the risks go out on your own.
I do from time to time, either to test the bike after maintenance or to blow out a few cobwebs. It may be foolish but sometimes the best fun can be had when not being sensible:thumbup:

I know your right Knobby, just feel I would get out more! but a smashed me or bike on a trail would not be fun with a mate never mind on your own, sort of knew the answer before I asked! blame the beer!

Hi Hew, yep I can understand that, from my point of view I would go out on the road bike in a flash on my own, either somewhere bleak or in the dark across Wales, but I don`t really have the experience to try it on my own trail riding!

PLUS the fact you have got a CRM :SmackBottom: and your bound to have one or two bike failures in a day
Just make sure you don't buy a Gas Gas you'll be in the same boat as you were with the CRM :SmackBottom:

It's obvious why you don't ride on your own.
You'd only get as far as the first gate and have to turn back :poke:

Do the Gas Gas's truly break down a lot, someone said that to me which was one of the reasons I got a KTM?

Hey Knobby what was that KTM 200 like? I was looking at one of those before the CRM was it the GS autolube model? taking oil out for every fill up seems a hassle? The main reason I did not get one is the height! Kais quoted £300 to lower it! lots of tyres and fuel that!

A 200
That is a 250 but not just any 250. This 7th day 250 was owned by Noel Edmunds Great Grandmother who as you can see from the photo passed it on to Mr Blobby
Think I have read somewhere that the GS autolube was only made for a year. Obviously the pump was designed by the same bloke who designed the side stands
